This Morenci mine azurite was dug in the middle 80's when Southwestern Mineral Associates had the lease with the Morenci mine to save some of the wonderful specimens and rough material that was being mined.  We acquired some of the rough from them and then in the early 90's a chunk was sent to Hong Kong and was carved into this incredibly intricate carving of a Brachiosaurus Dinosaur in the forest.  The attention to detail is obvious.  This is a true collector piece.  Azurite rough like this is no longer available.
